Away with that old Fence!

We put up new privacy fence on the back of our property. Strictly cedar. The old fence was infested with termites and extremely rotten. What an eye sore. It was that old fence that caused us having to put up electric fence so the dogs don't get out. All they had to do was to bump it and a slat would move. Problem was: this is our neighbor's fence. So, our other neighbors, who also share a section of this neighbor's fence said, enough's enough and asked to please be allowed to replace this eyesore. The fence owner said he would pay half. I guess that's better than nothing?

So, Paul took off the afternoon yesteday, bought the woood and they worked all afternoon. When I came home from work we continued until 9 pm. We had to use artificial light to just finish off. See the before and after. What a difference! And it smells wonderfully....CEDAR!
Below you see Paul and Phillip (our neighbor) carrying an old section into the fire.

Above is Michelle and Paul.

Any Cowboys Fans out there?

At work we are building 2 huge stars for the New Dallas Cowboys Stadium. I took a picture of the assembly. The parts will have to be taken apart now and painted 3 different colors: white, silver and blue. We matched the Cowboys colors. There will be panels put in the openings of the stars but we are not providing them. I thought I'd show off what we do at the company I work for.

It's a girl

It's Savannah who has been squirming around inside my belly! Yesss! It's a girl and Paul and I are excited. We just found out yesterday.
Everything is there: all toes and fingers. Paul thinks she has has his eyes.
